New kit for paddlers to help stop the spread

British Canoeing, along with the North Wales Wildlife Trust, have developed a kit for all paddlers to help stop the spread of non-native species in the UK.

The kit includes:

  • Dry bag which contains a sponge to dry your boat
  • A mud mate to clean kit and footwear
  • A waterproof identification guide (with lanyard) of the main invasive species you may come across

The kit will be available to paddlers and clubs who may be dealing with the spread.
