British Ecological Society Invasive Science Meeting
British Ecological Society Invasive Science Meeting 7-8 November 2019

From the event organisers:

"After the success of our 1st Invasion Science meeting, our 2nd meeting will focus on three key areas: the role of new technologies, behaviour change and building a career in invasion science.
We have the following confirmed keynote speakers: Dr Elias Symeonakis (Manchester Metropolitan University) will show how drones can be used to study invasive species, and Lucy Cornwell (GB Non-Native Species Secretariat- Animal & Plant Health Agency) will discuss how we can change people’s behaviour to better manage invasions.

In addition to our keynotes, we will hold workshops exploring tech, behaviour, and early careers in invasion science and there will be an opportunity to present your work as a ‘lightning’ talk or as a poster. Talks and posters from all aspects of invasion science research are welcome. The deadline for abstract submissions is Monday 7th October at 12 noon UK time. Please send abstracts to
