Marine and Freshwater Invasive Non-native Species Workshop
Defra hosted a workshop on July 9, 2014, to focus on Defra-relevant aspects of marine and freshwater invasive non-native species (INNS), and consider wider links and implications of INNS in the UK.

- current and forthcoming policy drivers for INNS
- current responsibilities with respect to INNS within Defra
- short presentations on projects currently underway on INNS
- future/emerging evidence priorities and potential collaboration opportunities
- how to take decisions on funding work on INNS while maintaining consistency across Defra
- next steps
