What you can do to help:

  • Make sure you follow good biosecurity practice every time you visit a water body
  • Tell your friends about 'Check, Clean, Dry' and encourage them to follow good biosecurity practice (give them a general leaflet, or one for boat and kayak users, or anglers)
  • Put up 'Check, Clean, Dry' posters at the water bodies you visit (with the landowners permission)
  • Encourage landowners and organisations to get involved with Check, Clean, Dry by contacting us at

What your organisation can do to help:

  • Become a 'Check, Clean, Dry' partner (contact us at )
  • Make sure your members are aware of and follow good biosecurity practice every time they visit a water body (biosecurity for everyone, boat and kayak users and anglers)
  • Put up posters and signs (for boat and kayak users and anglers) at your water body, slipways, clubhouses etc
  • Send 'Check, Clean, Dry' posters and leaflets (for boat and kayak users and anglers) to your members
  • Put 'Check, Clean, Dry' in your newsletters and bulletins
  • Show your members the 'Check, Clean, Dry' videos and put them on your website (links to videos below)
  • Put a link to 'Check, Clean, Dry' (www.nonnativespecies.org/checkcleandry) on your website
  • Include 'Check, Clean, Dry' information in your training and inductions (use the biosecurity guidance and poster)
