Stakeholder Sounding Board

The Stakeholder Sounding Board was established in 2007 as a mechansim to help increase input from stakeholders. It is a standing network of key stakeholders or their representatives who have agreed to:

  • Be consulted from time to time over ideas and proposals being contemplated or developed, or actions planned under the Programme Board’s remit.
  • Assist the Programme Board in providing or obtaining information that would help in developing policy and action on invasive non-native species – e.g. data provision, estimates of potential costs of measures, likely sectoral impacts of measures etc.
