Stakeholder Forum

The forum is a one-day event organised by the Secretariat, involving presentations, workshops and feedback sessions. Attendees are invited representatives from a wide range of sectors involved with non-native species issues including a large representation from industry. It provides an opportunity for discussion of high level strategic issues and is a means of engaging stakeholders in the development of non-native species policy and objectives. It encourages debate and helps facilitate information exchange.

Aims of the Forum:

  • To provide an opportunity to engage stakeholders for discussion of strategic issues and for the development of non-native species policy and objectives.
  • To aid effective operation of the GB Mechanism, encourage debate and help facilitate information exchange.
